New: Then You Shall Know That I Am The LORD Your God
One of the basic tenets of the articles found on this site is that the Western indigenous Christian nations, in the Biblical record’s last days, comprise the nations of the House of Israel. The House of Israel is all Israel minus the Jews, who are the House of Judah, not to be confused with Edom, Israel's brother, who claim to be Jews, but are not. [1 Kng. 12:20; Rev. 3:9]. Our forefather Jacob/Israel addressed his twelve sons in Genesis 49, telling them what would befall them, us now "in the last days." We've forgotten all this. But not for much longer according to the prophecies.
Our knowledge of who we are remains largely unknown due to the lies and deceit firmly established by the Roman church cleric Jerome’s early 5th century Latin Vulgate translation of the ancient Hebrew and Greek Biblcal manuscripts. Jerome’s mistranslation of the Greek word ethnos as gentiles, rather than the correct Biblical context of nations i.e., the nations of the House of Israel, has had disastrous effects that beset us today. [For details, see the Feature article, Moving Forward].
As Christ plainly stated in Mathew 15:24, he was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. The entirety of the New Testament was written solely to the House of Israel. Yet in our modern day fairy tale we call Christianity, the House of Israel has vanished. This is mostly due to Jerome’s handiwork on behalf of the Roman church, which was then carried over into the Protestant Reformation and the King James Version.
Karl Marx said, "Keep people from their history, and they are easily controlled." Our lack of knowledge of our ancestry and heritage has caused us to forget our Biblical roots. The perpetuated disinformation deceit that we are nothing more than a bunch of gentiles exists in the minds of nearly all who claim to be Christians. And our behavior confirms it.
The danger in this ignorance is that we have fallen away from the knowledge of our history and therefore, from the truth of the word of God. And we’ve been so indoctrinated with this false gentile belief, that we now find ourselves on the doorstep of what is commonly referred to as the "Apocalypse." And because of our ignorance of our Biblical history, we are oblivious to what awaits us. We have forgotten our LORD and Savior, words to the contrary notwithstanding.
Due to our prolonged and insistent belief that we are gentiles, and not the House of Israel, we have swallowed theological lies as if they were gospel. They’re not. In fact, modern day Christianity has no idea what the gospel, or good news, is. The good news is that Christ came to redeem the lost sheep of the House of Israel and to restore them to their rightful place in the plan of God, established before time began. [See the Feature article, Mirror, Mirror On The Wall]. Christ did not come "to save the gentiles of the world," although this persistent misunderstanding of John 3:16, which has been reduced to a slogan, is preferred to the direct quote from Christ, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel." And to the 12 apostles he sent out, his directive was clear, DO NOT go to the Gentiles, but go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.” [Mat. 10:5, 6]. And clearly the new covenant is made with the House of Israel and the House of Judah, not the gentiles of the world. [Heb. 8:8, 9, Jer. 31:31, 32; see the Feature article, Paul Was An Apostle To The House Of Israel, Not The Gentiles].
In our apostasy, the "great falling away," in these last days, we are about to experience the events of "And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation." [Dan. 12:1]. And it is all a result of the lack of knowledge of our heritage, and the love of the lies that has replaced it. And that which we call the "Apocalypse" is not directed at the gentiles of the world, but rather to the House of Israel, all one billion of us today, give or take. And to anyone paying attention to the secular events currently taking place in the world, our predicament should be rather obvious. [See the Newslink section].
This massive calamity is brought down on our heads by the LORD and Savior of Israel, Jesus Christ. As it is stated in a prophecy in Jeremiah, "Why do you cry about your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable because of the multitude of your iniquities, your sins have increased. I have done these things to you." [Jer. 30:15]. Jeremiah's prophecy was written sometime between 626-587 BCE, more than one hundred years after the captivity and removal from their land of our ancestors of the House of Israel by the Assyrians. Thus, our warning is prophetic.
The prophet Ezekiel is a messenger to the House of Israel in these last days. As our LORD said, "Moreover He said to me [Ezekiel], Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the House of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll. And He said to me, Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you. So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.
"Then He said to me: Son of man, go to the House of Israel and speak with My words to them. For you are not sent to a people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, but to the House of Israel, not to many people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have listened to you. But the House of Israel will not listen to you, because they will not listen to Me; for all the House of Israel are impudent and hard-hearted. Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads. Like adamant stone [diamond], harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house." [Eze. 3:1-9].
Because we lost knowledge of who we are, and forgotten the truth of the gospel given us by our LORD and Savior, certain events are to take place beginning in our very near future. As we’re told the purpose of these is so that we will come into knowledge of the truth, but the hard way. The events of the "Apocalypse" will afflict us mightily so that "Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God."
There are a number of prophecies warning us, the House of Israel, the indigenous Christian nations of the West, in the Book of Ezekiel. The following are many, but not all of them. They make one thing clear, unless we make wholesale changes in our lives, we are about to have the hand of our LORD and Savior stretched out against because, lip service aside, we've lost the true knowledge our LORD and Savior. However, we are given fair warning to make the necessary changes. [See the Feature article, Trust The Shepherd, Not The Hireling].
The apostle Paul pointed out in the first century to those of the church in Thessolonica, "Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." [2 Ths. 2:1-4; see Dan. 11:36-38].
[At the bottom of the Ezekiel quotes, there is a list of several articles making clear our identity as the Biblical House of Israel, and details regarding the quotes below].
Please keep in mind, these are prophecies, from our LORD's perspective, written in the book of Ezekiel that are for us, the nations of House of Israel, in these last days. They are not historical references.
"And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am the LORD." Ezekiel 6:7
"And they shall know that I am the LORD, I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them." 6:10
"Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when their slain are among their idols all around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, under every green tree, and under every thick oak, wherever they offered sweet incense to all their idols." 6:13
"So I will stretch out My hand against them and make the land desolate, yes, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblah [the Arabian desert], in all their dwelling places. Then they shall know that I am the LORD." 6:14
"My eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity; but I will repay your ways, and your abominations will be in your midst; then you shall know that I am the LORD!" 7:4
"The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the common people will tremble. I will do to them according to their way, and according to what they deserve I will judge them; then they shall know that I am the LORD!" 7:27
"You shall fall by the sword. I will judge you at the border of Israel. [Where US and UK troops are presently]. Then you shall know that I am the LORD." 11:10 [See Dan. 11:40-45].
"And you shall know that I am the LORD; for you have not walked in My statutes nor executed My judgments, but have done according to the customs of the Gentiles which are all around you." 11:12
"Then they shall know that I am the LORD, when I scatter them among the nations and disperse them throughout the countries." 12:15
"But I will spare a few of their men from the sword, from famine, and from pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the Gentiles wherever they go [captivity]. Then they shall know that I am the LORD." 12:16
"Then the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall become desolate; and you shall know that I am the LORD." 12:20
"My hand will be against the prophets who envision futility and who divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of My people, nor be written in the record of the House of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord GOD." 13:9
"So I will break down the wall you have plastered with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered; it will fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. Then you shall know that I am the LORD." 13:14
"For anyone of the House of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel [these are the lands of modern Israel, not Judea or the Middle East "Jewish" nation state of Israel, but the lands in which the sons of Israel in Genensis 49 live, US, UK, Western European nations, Canada, Australia, NZ], who separates himself from Me and sets up his idols in his heart and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity, then comes to a prophet to inquire of him concerning Me, I the LORD will answer him by Myself. I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people. Then you shall know that I am the LORD." 14:7, 8
"I pronounced them unclean because of their ritual gifts, in that they caused all their firstborn to pass through the fire,1 that I might make them desolate and that they might know that I am the LORD." 'Therefore, son of man, speak to the House of Israel, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: In this too your fathers have blasphemed Me, by being unfaithful to Me.'" 20:26, 27
"Therefore say to the House of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Are you defiling yourselves in the manner of your fathers, and committing harlotry according to their abominations? For when you offer your gifts and make your sons pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day. So shall I be inquired of by you, O House of Israel? As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “I will not be inquired of by you. What you have in your mind shall never be, when you say, ‘We will be like the Gentiles, like the families in other countries, serving wood and stone" [or silicon chips in today's world, technology].
"I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell [and into captivity], and they shall not enter the land of Israel [not included among the 144,000 at the return of Christ, Rev. 7:4-8; Rev. 14:1]. Then you will know that I am the LORD. "As for you, O House of Israel," thus says the Lord GOD: 'Go, serve every one of you his idols—and hereafter—if you will not obey Me; but profane My holy name no more with your gifts and your idols.'" 20:30-32
"You shall defile yourself in the sight of the nations; then you shall know that I am the LORD." 22.16
"Son of man, the House of Israel has become dross to Me; they are all bronze, tin, iron, and lead, in the midst of a furnace; they have become dross from silver. 'Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. 'Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst.'" 22:18-22
"They shall repay you for your lewdness, and you shall pay for your idolatrous sins. Then you shall know that I am the Lord GOD." 23:49
"Thus Ezekiel is a sign to you; according to all that he has done you shall do; and when this comes, you shall know that I am the Lord GOD." 24:24
"On that day [Ezekiel] your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped; you shall speak and no longer be mute. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they shall know that I am the LORD.' ” 24:27
"Also her daughter villages which are in the fields shall be slain by the sword. Then they shall know that I am the LORD." 26:6
"For I will make the land most desolate, her arrogant strength shall cease, [the West, particularly American exceptionalism] and the mountains [nations] of Israel shall be so desolate that no one will pass through. Then they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have made the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed." 33:28, 29
What, then, are we to do? Turn away from our errant ways, and return to the love of the truth of the word of God. Jonah, chapter 3 would be a good place to start.
1 " ... and of the most barbarous idolatries, as in the worship of Moloch, when they caused their children, especially their first-born, which God challenged a particular property in (the first-born of thy sons shalt thou give unto me), to pass through the fire, to be sacrificed to their idols; that thus he might make them desolate, not only that he might justly do it, but that he might do it by their own hands; for this must needs be a great weakening to their families and a diminution of the honour and strength of their country.
Note, God sometimes makes sin to be its own punishment, and yet is not the author of sin; and there needs no more to make men miserable than to give them up to their own vile appetites and passions. Let them be put into the hand of their own counsels, and they will ruin themselves and make themselves desolate. And thus God makes them know that he is the Lord, and that he is a righteous God, which they themselves will be compelled to own when they see how much their wilful transgressions contribute to their own desolations. Note, Those who will not acknowledge God as the Lord their ruler shall be made to acknowledge him as the Lord their judge when it is too late.
"That they had persisted in them after they were settled in the land of Canaan. Though God had so many times testified his displeasure against their wicked courses, "yet in this (that is, in the very same thing) your fathers have blasphemed me, continued to affront me, that they also have trespassed a trespass against me," v. 27.
"Note, It is a great aggravation of sin when men will not take warning by the mischievous consequences of sin in those that have gone before them: this is blaspheming God; it is speaking reproachfully of his judgments, as if they were of no significancy and were not worth regarding."[Matthew Henry Commentary, 1706, Eze. 20:26, 27; see 1 Pet. 4:3-5].
While we may think, "we don't sacrifice our first born sons in the fire in honor of an idol," we do worse. We blaspheme the sacrifice of the first born son of God on our behalf by returning to idols and other false gods in our society today. And so, all will be put through the fire due to our idolatry as noted by Ezekiel above. "Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst." 22:22. [See Rev. 3:15-19]. We toss aside our LORD's sacrifice preferring dead trees and painted chicken eggs in honor of ancient pagan deities, "as if the blood sacrifice for our sins by our LORD and Savior is of no significance, and not worth regarding." Big, big, big mistake.
