Flying Saucers In The Bible … Really?

The subject of UFO’s or flying saucers in the Biblical record has the potential to open Pandora’s Box at warp speed. The topic, however, is not new by any means. So before anyone gets weirded out about the subject matter of this article, given its title, a word of caution. We are going to stick to what is contained in the Biblical record and to a very specific point at that. If the general subject of aliens and flying saucers peaks your curiosity, there are books and stories out there going back more than 100 years. Our story is a bit different, but it's more intriguing. Examination of the subject starts with an observation made by someone not noted for being a flying saucer aficionado … Henry Kissinger.

Henry Kissinger stated at the Bilderberg meeting in Evian, France in 1992, “Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 riots in Los Angeles]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or promulgated [emphasis in original], that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being [i.e. peace and security] granted to them by the world government.” [See the Sneakers article, One World Peace And Security]. Of course, Kissinger leaves out how this world government is able to guarantee this peace and security against a superior alien force with the power to wipe out mankind.

Nevertheless, this is somewhat of a wow statement. Kissinger is saying that the threat of an extraterrestrial invasion from outer space will lead to Orwell’s vision of a world ruling government being fulfilled. Okay, Henry, that’s, uh, interesting, but it’s a bit out there, no pun intended. Or is it?

The genesis of Kissinger’s statement might be attributable to when he was a kid in Bavaria, perhaps reading lots of stories about flying saucers invading Earth, such as the 1898 H.G. Wells The War Of The Worlds. Or maybe it was something more recent when he was a teenager, like the 1938 film, Mars Attacks The World, or as an adult with the 1956 movie, Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers. [See Flying Saucer 1929].

Invariably in these stories, the terrified people of the Earth put aside all their military, economic, religious and cultural conflicts to unite and by some near miraculous feat, defeat the advanced, more powerful extraterrestrial horde. Of course, there is one detail Kissinger fails to point out. In the movies, the audience is led to believe that everyone lives happily ever after. His account differs just before the end credits roll. He envisions a world in which the globalist "one-percenters" live happily ever after in control of the grateful enslaved masses just as Orwell warned. [See Secret Masters; also Rev. 13:5].

Nevertheless, Kissinger makes an interesting point in two respects. One, he is talking about an invasion that would cause humanity to cede their liberty and sovereignty to a world ruling government with the UN as its military in exchange for “peace and security.” Two, he associates this ceding of liberty and individual and national rights to an invasion by extraterrestrials, i.e., “aliens and their flying saucers.” This is not exactly what one would expect from a former US Secretary of State or any “rational” government official, Area 51 notwithstanding.

But the Biblical record gives us all the pieces to fit together. And when they are fitted together, we discover that Kissinger has not lost his marbles, real or promulgated. It’s just he may be privy to things that we masses are not at this point in time, that is, unless we let the Biblical record tell us what he might know and why. So, let’s take a look at what that might be.

First, are there UFOs or flying saucers mentioned in the Biblical record? In a word, yes. And most Biblical researchers are of the same mind. In the Biblical record, they are identified flying objects [IFOs]. This is due to the description of the flying “wheels,” i.e. our modern version being flying saucers, mentioned in Ezekiel chapter one. Please keep in mind that the prophet Ezekiel was sent to the House of Israel and that his prophecies are meant for us in the last days. [See the Feature article, And Now, A Word From Our Sponsor].

As the King James era English can be a bit difficult to make sense of in terms of our modern day terminology and phraseology, I have used modern terms to help us understand Ezekiel’s description of “aliens” and “flying saucers.” You can check this against the translation of your choice.

Beginning in Ezekiel 1 we read, “And the living creatures [extraterrestrial aliens] ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. Now as I beheld the living creatures [ET aliens] on the ground, behold one wheel [flying saucer] was beside each of the living creatures [aliens] with his four faces. The operation of the wheels [flying saucers] made [Heb. ma’aseh, thing done, handiwork] them look like the colour of a beryl: and the four [flying saucers] were identical and their functioning was like a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

“When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four. And when the living creatures went, the wheels went along with them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

“Wherever the spirit was to go, they went where their spirit was to go; and the wheels rose up along side them: the living creature’s spirit was in the wheels. When those [living creatures] went, these [wheels] went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up along with them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.” [Eze. 1:14-21].

A little side note that probably means nothing, but is interesting. The Hebrew verb used by Ezekiel, to lift up is nasa’. And when a NASA rocket launches from the Earth, we have lift off, as in lifting up off the Earth. Is this another Ezekiel prophecy, or a Hebrew speaking rocket scientist? ... Okay, back to the flying wheels.

We see a further description of the wheels and cherubim in the entire chapter 10 of Ezekiel. “And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubim [the living creatures, extraterrestrials, Heb. keruwb, angels], one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was like the colour of a beryl stone. And their appearance, the four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel. When they went, they went upon their four sides; they didn’t turn as they went, but where the head looked, they went there; and they didn’t turn as they went. [This means they move in straight lines only, like a knight on a chessboard, no turning or curves like airplanes].

“And their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings, and even the four wheels that they had were full of eyes. And every one of the cherubim had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub; the second face was the face of a man; the third face was the face of a lion, and the fourth face was the face of an eagle.

“And the cheribim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and everyone stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

“This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar, and I knew that they were cheribim. Everyone had four faces apiece, and every one four wings and the likeness of the hands of a man were under their wings. And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.” [See Eze. 10:1-22].

What stands out in Ezekiel’s description are the living creatures, the cherubim, each having four faces. “And every one of the cherubim had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub; the second face was the face of a man; the third face was the face of a lion, and the fourth face was the face of an eagle.”

It is interesting too that Ezekiel prioritizes the four faces. First is the face of the cherub. Second is the face of a man. The cherub takes precedence over man. “What is man, that you are mindful of him? … For you have made him a little lower than the angels and have crowned him with glory and honour.” Following this, we read, “you made him [man] to have dominion over the works of your hands, you have put all things under his feet: … all the beasts of the field, the fowl of the air ….” [Psa. 8:5-8]. The third face is the lion, a beast of the field, and the fourth face is that of an eagle. fowl of the air. Ezekiel’s is the same priority given in Psalms ranking the creatures of God’s creation.

Now, each of the cherubim has their own flying wheel or flying saucer. And when the cherubim fly up and away, the flying saucers go with them in straight lines without turning. As we read, “ … the spirit [Heb. ruwach] of the living creature was in the wheels.” This would appear to indicate that the cherubim controlled the flying wheels.

These cherubim and their wheels, flying saucers, always go together. Or as Ezekiel put it, “ … the cherbim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth … the wheels also were along with, or beside them.”

The word beside in Hebrew is ‘ummah. It means near, beside, along with. Or as the KJV translators worded it, over against. It is obvious then that the angels, cherubim in this case, and the wheels or flying saucers, while separate, go together. It does not indicate that the cherubim are inside the flying saucers as alien passengers. As we read in Ezekiel 10:2, “The LORD spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, ‘Go between the wheels, under the cherubim ….’”

Of course, now we are thinking, if someone sees a UFO or flying saucer/wheel, where is the angel or cherub that goes with it? One answer is that the cherub is there, we just can’t see it in our visible light spectrum. As we read in John, “Jesus answered and said to him [Nathanael], ‘Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, you believed? You shall see greater things than these. And he said to him, Verily, verily, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.’” [John 1:50, 51].

The other possibility, of course, is that not all angels travel with flying wheels or saucers or vice versa. We have many instances of angels being seen in the Old and New Testaments without mention of wheels being present. Remember, our LORD commands the host or heaven's army. The word tsaba in Hebrew refers to an army or military. In the Genesis account of creation, we read in Gen. 2:1, “Thus the heavens and the Earth were finished, and all the host [army] of them.” We also read, “I have made the Earth and created man upon it. I, my hands, have stretched out the heavens and all their host [armies] have I commanded.” [Isa. 45:12]. And as with all armies, they are not comprised of just one component. That is armies are not all tanks or infantrymen or artillery, but combinations thereof. So we shouldn't expect that all angels go about with flying saucer wheels.

But cherubim do, at least the ones mentioned by Ezekiel. But let’s take a look at how the flying wheels move about in the sky. “And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.” So often we have heard from witnesses describing a UFO as just vanishing in an instant. Poof. They’re gone.

Also, we read Ezekiel’s description, “And their appearance, the four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel. When they went, they went upon their four sides; they didn’t turn as they went, but where the head looked, they went there; and they didn’t turn as they went.” Again, we’ve heard from eyewitnesses, especially pilots, that describe UFOs moving in straight lines, from point to point in the blink of an eye.

And, we have modern descriptions of UFOs as a disk with a ring of lights around the outer edge of the flying saucer.

From Ezekiel’s description of appearance and movement of the cherubim and their flying wheels, it sounds like our modern day descriptions of UFOs except now we know that the flying wheels within a wheel, in the instances mentioned by Ezekiel, are accompanied by angels. And angels, by definition, are extraterrestrial.

A detailed description of what these living creatures look like is mentioned in Eze. 10. Their description is what the Biblical record describes as cherubim. It’s what we refer to as angels. Also, the two gold cherubim are the angels or living beings symbolized on the cover or lid to the Ark of the Covenant. [Exd. 25:18-22; also see Exd. 26:31 2 Chr. 3:7, and Heb. 9:1-5]. A slightly different description of cherubim with two faces, rather than four, is mentioned in Eze. 41:18-20.

Okay, we have a pretty good idea that what we describe in our modern day language as flying saucers, from Ezekiel's account in the Biblical record, are cherubim with their flying wheels or wheel within a wheel.

Let’s transition from extraterrestrial angels and their flying saucers, for a moment, to the subject of Babylon the Great. As we’ll see, the two are connected in the Biblical record. You may recall from earlier articles that the power of the seven heads of the beast mentioned in Daniel and Revelation, are derived from Satan, in Greek meaning Adversary. [See Rev. 13:4].

Also, we read in Revelation, “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads … And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth … And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceives all those on the Earth [Greek, oikoumenē]; he was cast out to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” [Rev 12:3, 4, 9].

Those stars being dragged down to Earth are a reference to angels. “His dragging down the stars with his tail (lashed back and forth in his fury) implies his persuading to apostatize, like himself, and to become earthy, those angels and also once eminent human teacher who had formerly been heavenly.” JFB Commentary, Revelation 12:4, A.R. Fausset.

As the host of heaven cannot be numbered [Jer. 33:22], then Satan drawing a third of the angels, including cherbim and their flying wheels back to Earth, could mean hundreds or thousands, millions or hundreds of millions or more of “alien flying saucers” descending on Earth. If humanity were to wake up one morning to this alien horde, those who didn’t croak off from a heart attack from the get go, would figure mankind is doomed, especially if the leaders of governments told us this was a threat of mass annihilation. And if as Kissinger imagined, " ... all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil ...," then, the Babylonian beast, in secret alliance with his master Satan, and his angels with flying saucers, were to "stand up and protect everyone" from this alien invasion, real or promulgated, promising peace and security in exchange for submission and slavery, most will do it.

This would be the ultimate false flag operation of all time. Satan gives his power to the beast, aka Babylon the Great, the sixth head, Edom. Next, Satan and his angels scare the crap out of everyone threatening an alien invasion from outer space unless mankind gives up their wars, a la the 1951 movie, The Day The Earth Stood Still, albeit on steroids. Then, the Edomite Babylonian beast comes to the rescue and “saves the day” with world peace and security. Grateful mankind rolls over and plays dead. Mission accomplished.

So, Kissinger’s prediction, “ … if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence," how would mankind react? It is most likely that "all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil” has some credence in the Biblical record. And according to what we are told in Revelation, who would be there to deliver all the peoples of the world? Babylon the Great, aka our Big Brother. "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." [Rev. 13:7, 8].

The US government has recently acknowledged encounters with UFOs after decades of denial. Corporate media are running legitimate stories about ETs. Why now? Are they prepping the masses for future events? This leads us to ask, is this scenario real or promulgated? Will a “flying saucer invasion” from space, just like the movies, be the final act that sends us running into the arms of Big Brother? Time will tell.
