Updated: Paul Was An Apostle To The House Of Israel, Not The Gentiles
"Keep people from their history, and they are easily controlled." These are the observant words of Karl Marx. And for Christians today, truer words were never spoken. For we are, as a group, completely ignorant of our Biblical heritage, duped into believing we are nothing more than a mongrel mix of gentiles whose chief religious icons are Santa and the Easter bunny. Both are deadly anti-Christian deceptions of which we are warned against. It's only when we know who we are in the Bibical record, however, that we can recognize this, taking corrective steps to protect ourselves from the prophetic consequences of our self-willed actions.
A look around at the current state of Western "Christian" nations is more than sufficient to see that we are controlled by those active in our destruction. At the forefront of this theological duplicity is the traditional false Christian belief that Paul was the apostle to the gentiles. This is done in an attempt to explain John 3:16 because it is very clear that Christ [Heb. 13:8] sent the apostles to preach the gospel delivered by Christ only to the House of Israel, Mat. 10:5, 6 for whom it is intended. [Mat. 15:24]. In fact, Christ was clear when he told the apostles, DO NOT go to the gentiles. Despite this unequivocal directive, preachers and evangelists, however, mistakenly claim that Paul was the minister sent to preach the gospel to the gentiles, for whom it is not intended. As Paul himself made clear, there is only one gospel, the one for the lost sheep of the House of Israel delivered by our Savior Jesus Christ in the first century. The House of Israel is redeemed, our inheritance saved. This is the gospel, the good news. There is not a different gospel for gentiles. [Gal. 1:6-12; Greek, euangelion, gospel, glad tidings, good news].
If we understood the plan of God as contained in the Biblical record from Genesis to Revelation, which is one story for the same people, all this would be self-evident. As a result of this theological disinformation, for centuries Christianity easily has been controlled, led away from the truth of our heritage as the House of Israel, not to be confused with the House of Judah, the Jews. [1 Kng. 22:10]. And it is a fundamental cause of the grim effects of the current state of affairs we are suffering daily in our nations. However, we do have a short time, as individuals, to make critical changes vital to our salvation. [Rev. 3:20, 21]. Now is not the time for a season of apathy and doubt. [See the Feature article, Moving Forward].
The error in thinking we are gentiles is due in large part to not understanding the Old Testament's interlocking connectivity to the New Testament [as Paul wrote in the Book of Hebrews, Heb. 8:1-13, the new covenant is made with? And as he wrote to the Corinthians, 1 Cor. 10:1-4]. The significance of the shift from the law covenant made with Moses and the children of Israel to the promises of the new covenant made with Abraham and his Seed, Christ [Gal. 3:16-19; Rom. 11:25-27], due to the mistranslation of the Greek ethnos into English as gentiles, initially in the Roman Church Jerome's 5th century Latin Vulgate translation, we have been led down the path through the wide gate and broad way that leads to our prophesied last days nuclear destruction, with the remnant survivors going into captivity.1 To Christianity's detriment, this catholic error has carried over into most modern translations, but not all. [The public domain Darby translation for example; see Paul, Rom. 11:1, v. 13; Rom. 1:1-3].
The correct translation of the Greek ethnos, when we allow the Biblical record to interpret itself with Old Testament historical context, is nations, not gentiles, as in the nations of Israel, specifically the nations of the House of Israel in the New Testament Christian age beginning in the first century. Jerome's 5th century deceitful handiwork, his Latin Vulgate translation, cut asunder this vital truth, in both Old and New Testaments, ultimately leading to the tribulation of Christians by the hand of our LORD. [See the Feature article, And It's Still A Mystery].
Biblical prophecy has intersected our day to day lives. Because we are ignorant of the truth of our Biblical heritage, we are unaware of the apocalyptic danger that has descended upon us. The great falling away from the truth in these end-times is leading to "the crash of the collective West" just prior to Christ's return. [Amos 9:8-10; Rev. 7:1-8].
The entire context of the Biblical record is one book written to the same people from Genesis to Revelation, all 12 nations of Israel. Keep in mind, the House of Israel is all Israel minus Judah, the Jews. [1 Kng. 12:20]. The belief that "The Old Testament is for the Jews, the New Testament is for the gentiles" is a fatal "divide and conquer" flaw in basic Christian theological understanding. Therefore, it's a capital mistake to believe the Jews are all Israel. They're not. In fact, they make up a very small minority, about 2% or less of all Israel today. [See the Sneakers article, Tail Wagging The Dog?]. Christians of the House of Israel are just as "Semitic" as are the Jews descended from Judah. However, Biblically taken together, the House of Israel and the House of Judah are the House of Jacob. From the first book, the key characters in Genesis, and the Old Testament are all present in the last book, Revelation, and the New Testament. [See Gen. 49 and Rev. 7:4-8; also the Feature articles, The Tale Of Two Covenants and Damascus A Heap Of Ruins].
A perfect example of the current gentile misunderstanding in Christianity is the first use of the word Gentiles in the "Christian" New Testament. As the pre-Gutenberg 5th century false prophet Jerome's Roman Church Latin Vulgate has it, English translation, "The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthali, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles ...." [Greek, ethnos, Mat. 4:15; see Darby translation]. If you've read the prophecy in Genesis 49, verses 13 and 21, it is very apparent that both Zabulon and Nephthali are two sons, two nations of the House of Israel in the last days. They are not gentiles. See Rev. 7:6 & 8.
I mean, come on Jerome, this is grade school level reading comprehension, who is a duly canonized Roman church Saint, as well as in the Eastern Orthodox church, the Lutheran church and the Anglican Communion. He was rewarded with his own feast day for completely missing the mark. Otherwise, it is a deliberate effort to direct Christianity away from the Biblical truth to the 5th century Roman church hierarchy. And fyi, this guy Jerome screwed up the entire Bible for Christians as well, among other things, changing the number of the books from 49 to 66. Then Jerome jumbled their original canonized arrangement thereby throwing into disarray the deliberate, designed order of the books that outline the purpose of God's plan within the three major Biblical divisions of the Law, the Prophets and the Writings. [See the Postscript to The Blind Man's Elephant, p. 261ff].
The last book of the Old Testament, the "Jewish" Bible, is the book of Chronicles in the Writings division. In Jerome's version, it is the book of Malachi, which should be in the Prophets, the middle of the three divisions. In effect, Jerome's mishmash was a deliberate break in the continuity between the old and new covenants to the benefit of the Roman church's pope and priests to ensure control over the laity. [1 Tim. 2:5; see the Sneakers article, Nope To Pope]. It is a major reason why, more than 1500 years later, we erroneously think, "The Old Testament is for the Jews and the New Testament is for the gentiles." We have fallen away from the fundamental fact that Christ came to fulfill the purpose, the predestined plan for us, the House of Israel, in the books of the Law, and the Prophets in the Old Testament as he said. See Mat. 5:17, 18. That which is contained in the books of the Law and Prophets never pertained to the gentiles.
Believing the Old Testament is only for those of Judah, and the New Testament is for the gentiles, not the House of Israel, we have been deceived. We've cut ourselves off from the knowledge of our God-given heritage. Being easily controlled, we are paying a high price for our ignorance. Therefore, it's vital to our immediate future that we realize the New Testament was written for, and addressed to, the House of Israel, not the gentiles of the world as the apostle Paul clearly understood, and then make the necessary correction in our lives. [Hos. 4:6; read the Feature article, Moving Forward for a detailed explanation].
It would be helpful for understanding the Biblical record that when reading through the New Testament and in coming across the word gentiles, it correctly, with extremely few exceptions indicated by the context, 1 Pet. 2:11, 12 for example, is a reference to the ethnos, from which we get our word ethnic. Ethnic refers to a people's common national or cultural tradition, our common history as noted by Karl Marx, such as is the case in the Biblical record with the nations of the House of Israel. The immense diversity of the gentiles of the world, however, hardly could be said to have a common national or cultural tradition. Current attempts to destroy our common heritage of the House of Israel with the CRT, DEI "diversity" agenda are succeeding for the very reason we think we're gentiles. Knowing the truth, DEI and woke ideology go out the window. [Both the Darby translation, and Young's Literal Translation correctly translate the Greek ethnos as nations, and both are in the public domain; see YLT Acts 28:17-28, the Biblical context here is Israel, in particular Paul's discourse with the Jews, not gentiles, concerning the law of Moses and the prophets, Esaias the prophet to our fathers, yet the Jews won't hear the good news of redemption and salvation, v. 26, 27, Isa. 6:9, 10; Rom. 11:25, 26 YLT, but the ethnos, the nations of the House of Israel did in the first century].
Therefore, correctly, in Matthew 4, it should read, "Galilee of Israel's nations, or Israel's sons," which just so happens to be the land in which Christ began his ministry ... to redeem the lost sheep of the House of Israel as our Savior, exactly as he said.2 [See Mat. 4:12-16, YLT; Old Testament KJV has it nations too, Isa. 9:1; see Isa. 8:23, The Complete Jewish Bible, where it reads nations].
Why do we reject Isaiah's prophecy, a prophet of Israel not gentiles, and Christ's plain words, instead believing Jerome who has it wrong on all levels? And following Jerome's lead, modern day "Christianity" has it all wrong too. [See John 3:31-36]. We need to ask, how is it that in the OT KJV, Isaiah refers to Galilee of the nations of Israel while in the NT Matthew's KJV Isaiah quote it is Galilee of the gentiles of the world? It's Jerome's doing, passed along over the centuries. And the rest, as it's written, is walking through the wide gate of diversity and the broad way of gentiles, which is where we are today. [Mat. 7:13].
Also, in the last days prophecy of Genesis 49, in referencing Judah, our patriarch Israel said, "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes ...."3 The symbol of authority, rulership for all Israel, not the gentiles, the sceptre, resided with Judah, through the house of King David until Christ, the King of Kings, first coming to redeem the House of Israel. So where would we expect to find the sceptre? It resides within the kingly line of the Christian House of Israel to this day, "the last days," as we'll discover below. [Jer. 33:17; 1 Chr. 5:1, 2].
Christ's first coming began with the redemption ["the good thing which I have promised"] of the lost sheep of the House of Israel, " ... the people which sat in darkness [the divorced House of Israel, Jer. 3:6-8] saw great light [1 John 1:5]; and to them which sat in the region [the land of Israel's sons Zabulon and Nephthali in Galilee, map, Rom. 9:25-29; region, Greek chōra, not a reference to the world], and shadow of death, light is sprung up." [Mat. 4:16].
Zabulon and Nephthali were the first two nations of the divorced ["you are not my people"] House of Israel to be taken captive by the Assyrians 700 years earlier. [2 Kng. 15:29]. So it was fitting for the Redeemer of His people, the House of Israel, to begin his ministry of redemption there as Hosea the prophet of Israel wrote about c. 790 BCE. [Hos. 1:10; Rom. 9:26].
We read in John 3:16, 17, the raison d'etre incorrectly used to show that Christ came to save the world, i.e., gentiles. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
Part of the problem modern day Christianity has is hanging an entire doctrine on Jerome's one mistranslated ancient Greek to English word, while discarding the entire context of the Biblical record as delivered by Christ, the apostles, and the prophets of Israel. To this point, the context of John's chapter 3 to verse 21 is Christ talking to Nicodemus, a Pharisee, a proclaimed master of Israel, a ruler of the Jews. [John 3:10]. And the all-encompassing keystone context for the entirety of Biblical Christianity is Christ's clear and plain statement in Matthew 15 made to a gentile woman, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the House of Israel." No gentiles.
As it is as Christ said, being sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel, why would Paul preach Christ our Savior to the gentiles? It makes no sense. What would he say to them? "Our Savior, the Redeemer of Israel gave us some good news. He came to save our derrieres. I thought you might like to know that." [See the Sneakers article, What About Everyone Else?].
The word world here in the Biblical Greek is kosmos, κόσμος. " ... in Greek writings from [c. 9th/8th century BCE] down, kosmos is an apt and harmonious arrangement, or constitution, order." [Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, 1890]. In other words, in the Biblical record it's the entirety of our LORD's plan. "For God so loved the world," kosmos, his complete and absolute plan, that ... Christ redeemed the divorced, lost sheep of the House of Israel. If we had adhered to the gospel as delivered by Christ and the apostles in the first century, 2000 years later this would be so evident as to not needing to be pointed out.
As Ezekiel, prophet to the House of Israel in these last days [Eze. 3:1-7] wrote, "Son of man [Ezekiel], describe [Heb. nāḡaḏ, to tell, declare] the house [Heb. bayiṯ, also temple, 1 Cor. 6:19] to the House of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern." [Heb. tāḵnîṯ, Eze. 43:10]. The implication being that the entirety of God's plan, [kosmos], including the temple, God's house [bayiṯ] for the House of Israel, is perfect in all its proportions, in all its aspects, in every detail, "the sum, [same as pattern, tāḵnîṯ], full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty," as it reads in Eze. 28:12. God loves the perfection of his plan, not the imperfect "world" that mankind has corrupted by following after evil. [See James 1:13-15; also Rev. 21, notice whose names are on the twelve gates to the new Jerusalem, v. 12, and the names on the 12 foundations, v. 14, the apostles sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel, Mat. 10:5, 6]. In essence, the house of God, the temple, the New Jerusalem, is declared to the people of the House of Israel who need to measure the perfection of the beauty and the wisdom of God in the plan he has for the House of Israel. But we don't. Our wisdom rises only to the level of heathen Christmas trees and Easter bunnies. [See the Sneakers article, This Old House].
For it is as Christ explained, "Jesus said to the people who believed in him, 'You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings [not Jerome's]. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'" [John 8:31, 32; also v. 12; see the Feature article, Three Temple Ages Make A Plan].
Following Jerome's lies, we have chosen to become bad fruit Jeromians. [See Luke 6:43; 3:9]. How can we possibly profess to be Christians when we religiously adhere to the works of Jerome? [Mat. 7:15-20; Luke 11:23]. We are led into the bondage of deceit, and the ignorance of our God-given heritage, the fruit of which are the dire consequences we are suffering in our nations today, not to mention what is to come as we read in Amos 9 above. We are a far cry from what transpired in the first century.
In Ezekiel, "Thus they shall know that I, the LORD [Heb. Yᵊhōvâ] their God, am with them, and they, the House of Israel, are My people [Eze. 34:30, Heb.ʿam, kindred, people, nation; see Paul, Rom. 9:1-5, especially v.4], says the Lord GOD." Our LORD is the Savior of the House of Israel. [Isa. 63:7, 8; Acts 28:28]. And in the gospel of Matthew, "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS [Greek, Iēsous, meaning Yᵊhōvâ is salvation], for he will save His people [Greek, laos] from their sins." [Mat. 1:21; see Mat. 15:24]. God's plan for all Israel interconnects both Old and New Testaments. We just need to find it again.
In the Greek usage, and in the Biblical context and intent, as noted above, the Greek kosmos [English, world] does not refer to people, as with men, mankind, anthropos or to an inhabited planet, oikoumenē, or to people, tribe, laos. [For more details see the Feature articles, Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, and Galilee Of The Gentiles].
The apostle Paul was very well aware of the difference between kosmos and mankind. As he wrote, "For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle [Greek theatron, theater] to the world [kosmos], and to angels [angelos], and to men [anthropos]." [1 Cor. 4:9]. Kosmos, world, "full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty," is not conflated with men, anthropos. Paul lists them separately in their order of preeminence. Kosmos, God's plan first, "God so loved the kosmos," followed by angels, then men or mankind last.
As Paul wrote in Hebrews, "For unto the angels [angelos] he has not put in subjection the world [oikoumenē, the inhabited Earth] to come, whereof we speak. [Isa. 65:17, Rev. 21:1]. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, [anthropos] that you are mindful of him? or the son of man, that you visited him? You made him [man] a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands ...." [Heb. 2:5-7. It's clear here that Paul understood the difference between kosmos, God's plan, the inhabited Earth [oikoumene], angels [angelos] and men [anthropos]. But thanks to Jerome's mangling, and our loyalty to his false narrative, we are blind to the plain truth of the words of our LORD. We have been, and continue to be easily controlled. [Pro. 14:12, 22:6].
The Biblical theological point understood and made by John in John 3:16 is the fulfillment of what Jeremiah, an Old Testament prophet, as noted above wrote, "'Behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD [Christ], 'that I will perform that good thing [hence gospel, good news] which I have promised [redemption of our inheritance and salvation as part of God's plan, the kosmos] to the House of Israel and to the House of Judah ...'" i.e., the new covenant that we read of in Heb. 8. Notice, no promises to any gentiles, and no plan for any gentiles.
In fact, the apostle Paul made this point very clear in the New Testament, "And having removed him [king Saul, a descendant of Benjamin, as was Paul] he raised up to them [all Israel] David for king, of whom also bearing witness he said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who shall do all my will. Of this man's seed according to promise has God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus [as noted above, Greek, Iēsous, Jehovah is salvation]." [Acts 13:23; Mat. 1:1; read Luke 1:68-70]. Keep in mind, the reference to Israel here is the House of Israel in the Christian age. [See Rom. 11:25-27 and John 11:51, 52; also the Feature article, The Good News Colour Revolution]. The Jews are referred to as the House of Judah, not Israel, upon the splitting of the kingdom of Israel, after the death of Solomon, into two houses. [1 Kng. 12:20].
Again, no gentiles. But you would think that if Paul was the apostle to the gentiles, here was the perfect opportunity to dismiss any uncertainty, especially as he was on his first ministerial journey. "God brought to Israel, and the Gentiles, a Savior, Jesus," or "God brought to the Gentiles, a Savior, Jesus." So simple. But he didn't because he knew it wasn't true.4 So why is it current day Christianity is suffering the effects of the great falling away from the truth to accept the lie? Paul gives us the answer in his prophecy for us in these last days. See 2 Ths. 2:1-12.
To provide some contextual overview, the apostle Paul wrote, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world [kosmos, God's plan, a plan is made in advance of putting it into practice, i.e., predestined, predetermined, as with "God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus"], that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons [or "planned for us to be adopted as his sons," Rom. 9:4, 26; Gal. 4:1-7] by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will ["that good thing promised to the House of Israel and the House of Judah," Jer. 33:14], to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. [Eph. 1: 3-6; see Rom. 9:25].
"In Him we [Paul wrote meaning Israel, not gentiles] have redemption [Isa. 41:14, our Redeemer, the Holy One Of Israel; see the Book of Ruth] through His blood, the forgiveness of sins [Mat. 1:21, his people, who are Israel; Gal. 4:4, 5; Heb. 9:15, redemption of the transgressions, i.e., forgiveness of sins, under the first covenant, the law, made only with the children of Israel, not the gentiles; see 1 John 3:4], according to the riches of His grace, which He made to abound toward us [Israel, Eph. 2:1-10; gentiles are to be judged by their works, Rev. 20:12, 13] in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will [again, see the Feature article, And It's Still A Mystery], according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times [see the Feature article, The Three Times In God's Plan] He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.
"In Him also we have obtained an inheritance [eternal life], being predestined according to the purpose of Him [according to His plan] who works all things according to the counsel of His will [Rom. 11:26, 27, through grace all Israel is redeemed and saved, Rom. 3:24, but there is hope for those who are gentiles, who will be judged by their works, Rev. 20:12, 13, and can earn a place and a name better than some of Israel, Isa. 56:1-8, v. 5; again see the Sneakers article, What About Everyone Else?], that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise [Acts 2:36-38], which is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory." [Eph. 1:7-14; also see NLT, Eph. 1:3-5]. Neither the redemption of our inheritance or our salvation was attainable under the law covenant made with Israel. Redemption of the purchased possession begins with the first resurrection, the firstfruits, at the return of our Redeemer, Christ, to those who have the Holy Spirit of God. However, all Israel shall be saved. [Rev. 20:6; 1 Cor. 15:51-53, "Behold, I show you a mystery ...].
In Jeremiah 33:17 we read about a part of the prophetic plan of God in effect today, "For thus says the LORD: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the House of Israel ....'" The Book of Jeremiah, as Biblical scholars have determined, was written between 626 BCE and 587 BCE. This brings up some notable prophetic points. King David, who was dead at the time Jeremiah wrote these prophecies, was a descendant of Judah. He was king over all Israel, both houses.
So, at the time of Jeremiah writing down this prophecy, David was dead, and the House of Israel was non-existent. They had been divorced from our LORD beginning in 732 BCE, more than 100 years prior. [Jer. 3:6-8]. They had been taken captive by the Assyrians and scattered throughout the Assyrian empire. The House of Israel ceased to exist, as nations and as a people. [Isa 7:8; Ephraim is the royal or kingly line of the House of Israel].
This is why the lost sheep of the House of Israel needing redeeming. Redeem is to buy back or purchase that which was lost. “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He [Christ] purchased with His own blood." [Acts 20:28] Only the House of Judah was in existence during Jeremiah's time. Josiah was the king of Judah when "the words of the LORD came" to Jeremiah. [Jer. 1:2].
Yet, how is it the prophet Jeremiah wrote that king David, a descendant of Judah, the House of Judah, would not lack for a man to sit on the throne of the House of Israel, which did not exist when he wrote this prophecy? A major shift occurred, about 600 years later, at Christ's first coming, which highlights "the Old Testament's interlocking connectivity to the New Testament." Christ broke the brotherhood between Judah and Israel. Judah was out, and Israel was in, redeemed. [Zech 11:10-14].
It is as the apostle Paul wrote, quoting David's Psalm 69, "God has given them [the House of Judah] a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day." [Rom. 11:8]. As Paul continued, "For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren [called and chosen descendants of the House of Israel], of this mystery, that you may not be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel [the House of Judah], until the fullness of the nations [the House of Israel] be come in, and so all Israel shall be saved." [Rom. 11:25, 26]. This is in accordance with the plan of God as outlined to us in the annual holy days given to all Israel, and not to the gentiles. [See The Hijacked Elephant for a detailed look at Israel's holy days that outline the plan of God for us]. Judah is blinded to Christ's salvation until he returns. [For the prophetic details, read Eze. 37:15-28].
The theological landscape for all Israel experienced it's greatest upheaval in the changeover from old to new. OS2 replaced OS1. The law covenant our LORD made with Moses and the children of Israel, in effect for more than a thousand years, ceased to exist overnight. The new covenant of grace by promise to Abraham and Christ took its place. And as we know, Christ was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel in the first century. He was not sent to the Jews or to the gentiles. Judah will remain blinded to the redemption of the House of Israel by Christ in the Christian age until his return and redemption [Yom Kippur] according to the kosmos, his plan, as written in the prophecies. [Isa. 29:10; Rom. 11:8; see the Feature article, The Good News Colour Revolution].
Shiloh ... "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes ...." is a reference to Christ. The important point to note here is that the sceptre, the symbol of sovereignty and rulership, shifted from Judah [king David] to the House of Israel through Christ, a descendant of David, and not to the gentiles, [Luke 1:31-33; John 7:42; Mat. 15:24], with Ephraim, a son of Joseph, being the kingly line of the House of Israel. [Gen. 48:16-20; see the Feature articles, Is The US, And Great Britain, In End-Times Bible Prophecy? also Damascus A Heap Of Ruins].
The royal line exists today, in the last days, as does the House of Israel, exactly as the Biblical prophecies tell us. "David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the House of Israel ...." Please note that this refers to the fact that a male heir always will be present in the line of succession, though not necessarily in the royal seat of king. And as the word of our LORD is true, and cannot be broken, the symbol of authority, rulership, the sceptre was passed from queen to the new king very recently. [Sceptre]5. However, merely because the sceptre resides with Ephraim, the royal or kingly lineage of the House of Israel today [Jer. 33:17], it does not mean the king is God's representative on Earth or that he is a man of God. It's just that the Genesis 48 & 49, Jeremiah 33 and Luke 1 prophecies are true, and in effect regardless of the character of the person sitting on the throne. [1 Kng. 16:28-30, 33].
The continuity of the sceptre, the authority and rulership over all Israel, which began with King Saul, was passed to King David, then centuries later was passed to Christ and resides with his people, the House of Israel today, is all in accordance with Biblical prophecies and historical Biblical events covering the past 3000 years. It's part of the interlocking connectivity from old to new. [See Rev. 11:15]. All this has nothing to do with gentiles, those who are not descendants of Israel, including Israel's brother Esau/Edom. [Rev. 3:9; Rom. 9:10-13; see the Feature article, Is That You Big Brother?].
The tectonic shift from the old law covenant made with Moses and all the children of Israel to the promises of the new covenant of Abraham and his Seed, Christ, was a shift from the House of Judah to the House of Israel in the last days, the Christian age, not to the gentiles as Jerome has Christianity believing. It's exactly as our patriarch Jacob/Israel said in his last days prophecy to his 12 sons, including Zabulon and Nephthali, nations of Israel. Christ was sent only to redeem the lost sheep of the House of Israel at his first coming. [Mat. 15:24]. And this is why the authority, rulership of Israel, symbolized by the physical sceptre, was passed to Christ and the House of Israel, which resides with Ephraim today, not Judah, and definitely not with the gentiles.
The apostle Paul, like all the other apostles, understood that the good news of redemption, the inheritance, eternal life, and salvation was for the lost sheep of the House of Israel in this age, "predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself" ... "when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, that he might redeem those under the law [Israel] that we might receive sonship." [1 John 3:1, 2]. It's all part of the plan of God for us. Yet, we are deceived by our Adversary who has gotten us to believe it's not true. This deception has caused the House of Israel to become the "invisible man" of the New Testament, though the entirety of the New Testament is only for the House of Israel until Christ's return. It's deadly disinformation to the max for those of the House of Israel. [See the Feature article, And It's Still A Mystery; 1 Cor. 4:1].
Paul was an apostle to the House of Israel, who pointed out that the gospel, Christ crucified, the redemption of our inheritance, and salvation, was "to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness." [1 Cor 1:23]. And now the truth of the word of God has become a stumbling block to those of the House of Israel in these last days [2 Ths. 2:3] who profess with our lips to be Christians. But our works, and the fruit thereof, prove otherwise. [An Epidemic Plaguing America, The Other One].
Therefore, we need to get on track with the truth of our Christian roots while we can, and ditch Jerome's lies. "Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O House of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord GOD. 'Therefore turn and live!'" [Eze. 18:31; Tts. 1:16; see the Feature articles, The Good News Colour Revolution and Ordained To Eternal Life].
As Paul told us, when Christ returns after the devastating events of the end-times apocalypse, out of the billion plus of the House of Israel today, the remnant of Israel shall be saved, including Judah. [Rom. 9:27-29; Mark 13:20]. He is reiterating the word of our LORD to the prophet Ezekiel, who is sent to the House of Israel, just like the apostles, including Paul. [Eze. 3:1; see Rev. 22:16]. It's all part of the plan, kosmos, as Paul pointed out, written in the pages of the Biblical record for the same people from Genesis to Revelation, the House of Israel and the House of Judah, descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in these last days. [Rom. 11:25-27; see the Book Excerpt, Christ And The Duality Of The Atonement; also chapter six, The Hijacked Elephant].
So let us remember the advice given to us by Paul, the apostle to the House of Israel,"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled [Greek, rantizō, to cleanse, purify by sprinkling, nothing to do with baptism, submersion] from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." [Heb. 10:19-25].
1 The recent talk and increasing risk of nuclear world war is not a coincidence. As it reads in Dan. 12, "... and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation." And in Mark 13, "And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved ...." It is prophecy primarily directed at the House of Israel by our LORD [Dan. 4:17] as related through the prophets Zechariah, Ezekiel, Amos and others.
In Eze. 6:11-14. ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Pound your fists and stamp your feet [Ezekiel], and say, ‘Alas, for all the evil abominations of the House of Israel! For they shall fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.‘ He who is far off shall die by the pestilence, he who is near shall fall by the sword, and he who remains and is besieged shall die by the famine. Thus will I spend My fury upon them. Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when their slain are among their idols all around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, under every green tree, and under every thick oak [for example, World Leaders and the Occult], wherever they offered sweet incense to all their idols. So I will stretch out My hand against them and make the land desolate, yes, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblah [the Arabian Desert] in all their dwelling places. Then they shall know that I am, the LORD.’ ” This certainly is a great tribulation or as it is in the Old Testament, the time of Jacob's [all Israel's] trouble. [See Jer. 30:7].
And in Zechariah, “But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land became desolate after them, so that no one passed through or returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate.” This is prior to the return of Christ. [Zec. 7:14; see Eze. 7, "thus says the Lord GOD to the land (Heb. אֲדָמָה, 'ăḏāmâ, the ground, land), of Israel"]. Bear in mind, in these latter days the House of Israel comprises the land of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, and Western Europe. The current nation state of Israel's land primarily is that of the House of Judah. After the captivity of the House of Israel by the Assyrians, and the House of Judah by the Babylonians, people of both Houses had returned to the land in the Middle East by the first century CE as the land was not made desolate in their absence..
In a nuclear explosion, the first to die, or vaporize as the case may be, do so by the blast, i.e., the sword. Those far off, outside the blast kill zone, suffer radiation poisoning which leads to pestilence, cancers, blood disorders, etc. Those who remain and are beseiged, [Heb. נָצַר, nāṣar, to preserve, guard from dangers], such as those in bomb shelters or other sheltered areas shall die by famine, when food supplies become irradiated, inedible, or run out.
Multiple modern powerful nuclear bombs can make the land desolate, leaving the land stark, and highly radioactive like Chernobyl, which is located in Ukraine, making it so no one would return to that land or even pass through it. As noted, the wilderness toward Diblah is a reference to the Arabian Desert. The massive sand dunes there definitely would be considered desolate and barren, a wasteland. This is an apropos description in the aftermath of a place hit by modern nuclear warheads, perhaps hundreds or more of them, each a thousand times [15 megatons] more powerful than Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Russia detonated the world's most powerful nuclear bomb at 57 megatons. The single bomb, Tsar Bomba, as it was called, was ten times more powerful than all of the combined munitions used during World War 2, or about 4000 times more powerful than Hiroshima. It's reported that Russia has nuclear submarines that carry missiles with 100 megaton capability. Combine this sort of potential power with hypersonic, maneuverable, multiple [allegedly up to 36 with the latest Oreshnik Russian intermediate ballistic missile] nuclear warheads on a single missile, desolate seems like an understatement, especially when coupled with the fact there are more than 200 nuclear power plants in Europe and the US that face Chernobyl-like destruction as well.
Those few who manage to survive this time shall be taken captive and scattered into foreign lands. "I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known." "'Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth; yet I will not utterly destroy the House of Jacob [all Israel, the Houses of Judah and Israel],' says the LORD. For surely I will command, and will sift the House of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve; yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground [that is, no one remaining of the House of Israel shall escape this judgement, but our Lord will not cause them to be destroyed]. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, who say, 'The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.'" [Amos 9:8-10; see the Feature article, And Now, A Word From Our Sponsor].
However, our LORD and Savior will recover the remnant of His people as he did with those who left Egypt. "In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to bring back the remnant of his people—those who remain in Assyria and northern Egypt; in southern Egypt, Ethiopia, and Elam; in Babylonia, Hamath, and all the distant coastlands. He will raise a flag [Heb. נֵס, nēs, a standard, a rallying point] among the nations [of Israel] and assemble the exiles of [the House of] Israel. He will gather the scattered people of [the House of] Judah from the ends of the earth. Then at last the jealousy between Israel and Judah will end. They will not be rivals anymore." This is witnessed in all Israel's annual holy day of Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement, whose prophetic fulfillment occurs just after the return of Christ. [NLT, Isa. 11:11-13; see Eze. 37:15-28].
2 When Christ was born, Herod, a descendant of Esau/Edom [Gen. 27:40, 41, "you shall have dominion" over your brother Jacob/Israel; also see Mark 3:6] sought to have Christ, the House of Israel's savior and redeemer, killed. "Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men." [Mat. 2:16; 2:9-11]. This fulfilled a prophecy written by Jeremiah the prophet, "A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they are no more." [Mat. 2:18, quote from Jer. 31:15]. Rachel was wife to Israel. Her sons were not gentiles. Her sons were Joseph, whose sons are Ephraim, UK today, and Manasseh, US today, and Benjamin, Germany, of whom the apostle Paul was a descendant.
Rachel weeping for her children was a prophecy concerning Esau/Edom killing his brother Israel's children. This was not done during their lifetimes, rather it began with the Edomite Herod in the first century, those 2 years old and under who were killed. The killing of the young children of the House of Israel by Edom continues today [for one, think "covid"] as they have dominion over the House of Israel including the UK, US, and Germany in particular. The industrial economic leader of western Europe, Germany is the hardest hit nation in Europe resulting from the Ukraine war and sanctions on Russia, instigated by Edom, who make their living by the sword. [globalist banking and war; Gen. 27:40 above. See our Feature articles Prophecies section].
It was important to sever Germany's ties to Russian oil and gas, again sanctions, and Nord Stream pipelines. Without this convenient and relatively cheap supply of energy, the industrial base of Germany is greatly impacted for the worse as are the other nations of western Europe, the House of Israel. Rather than having some relative independence from the Edom dominated US, Germany, and the rest of Europe are now on a tighter leash to the globalists, having achieved their dominion over the birthright nations of Israel, Rachel's son Joseph, his sons, the US and UK in these last days. Esau/Edom are the wolves in sheep's clothing, appearing to be those of Judah, or Jews to the world, but are not. [Mat. 7:15; Rev. 3:9; Rom. 9:13; 1 Chr. 5:1; See the Feature article, Is The US, And Great Britain, In End-Times Bible Prophecy?; also Newslink section for more information about this].
3 While the ancient capital city of the House of Israel was Samaria, and was located in the land allotted to Ephraim's brother Manasseh, the US today, the ancient city of Shiloh was in the land given to the kingly line of the House of Israel, Ephraim, the UK today. See Map. Shiloh, [Heb. šîlô, a place of rest] also was the temporary dwelling place for the Ark of the Covenant and the Tabernacle. And it was in Shiloh, after crossing the river Jordan, that the assembled children of Israel drew lots for their inheritance in the promised land on the west side of the river. [Jos. 18:1, 2].
There are many who seek the Ark of the Covenant today, but it does not reside on Earth. It hasn't since the temple of Solomon was destroyed by the Babylonians. At the sounding of the seventh angel's trumpet immediately before Christ's return, "And the temple of God in the heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail." [Rev. 11:19].
4 Recall from above in the gospel of Matthew, "And she [Mary] will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS [NT Greek, Iēsous, Jehovah is salvation; OT Heb. LORD, Yᵊhōvâ, Jehovah, Exd. 3:15] for he will save His people from their sins." Sin, as noted by the apostle John, is the transgression of the law, i.e., the law covenant made with our LORD and Moses and the children of Israel. The gentiles never were a party to this covenant. [1 John 3:4; Exd. 34:27; Deut. 29:1; 1 Cor. 10:1-4].
The law covenant codified that which is evil [Gen. 2:9], making it a legally binding agreement solely between Israel and our LORD. Evil is "sin" only when it is imputed by the terms of the law covenant. Therefore, when there is no legally binding law covenant, sin cannot be imputed, no legal penalty can be assessed. As Paul noted, "For until the law, sin [Greek, hamartia, to miss the mark] was in the world: but sin is not imputed [Greek, ellogeō, lay to one's charge] when there is no law." [Rom. 5:13]. In other words, you can't get a traffic ticket for driving through an intersection when there is no stop sign, though the danger of an accident remains. The intent of the stop sign should be to prevent accidents that can injure and kill. And the intent of the law was to point out, and prevent the nations of Israel bringing harm on themselves by doing evil. Compare the ten commandments with what is the norm in our society today. [Exd. 20:1-17; see the Sneakers article, As It Was In The Beginning, So It Is At the End].
The apostle Paul wrote, "God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, that he might redeem those under the law." [Gal. 4:4]. This is why Christ needed to be born of the House of Judah in the first century. They remained under the law until the day of his crucifixion. [See the Feature article, Why Was Jesus Jewish, But Not Moses?].
Those not of Israel, our gentiles, never were under the law. They cannot "sin" because they are not and never were in the legally binding law covenant relationship with our LORD. However, they can do that which is evil. [Gal. 5:13-15; 1 Pet. 2:16]. The misconception that Paul was an apostle to the gentiles comes from not understanding this key, and obvious principle. For example, in Gal. 2:15 we read, "We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles ..." is an example of not understanding the law covenant and with whom it was made. The Greek word in use here is ethnos. It is the same as our English word, ethnic, that is relating to a common national or cultural history. As noted in the text above, the gentiles of the world hardly share a common history with Biblical Israel. Biblically, sin is violating the terms of the legal agreement between God and Israel. Thus, it is impossible for gentiles to be sinners, or to violate the terms of the law covenant made only with Israel as the King James translators mistakenly did with Gal. 2:15. It should read, "... and not sinners of the nations" as in the divorced nations [Jer. 3:6-8] of the House of Israel that Christ did come to redeem in the first century, Mat. 15:24. The KJV translators made a major error in not understanding this vital principle, and it has led millions upon millions of descendants of the nations of the House of Israel astray over the centuries.
"For that He [Christ] died, He died to sin [transgression of the law covenant] once [for all the sins of Israel, both individually and as his holy people] but that He lives, He lives to God." [Rom. 6:10]. Keep in mind, the law covenant, by which sin is imputed, became null and void. Christ broke it in the first century. [Zec. 11:10, 11]. "For in Paul's time, according to his view, the new had absolutely set aside the old covenant. The Greek for (Kaine) New (Testament) implies that it is of a different kind and supersedes the old: not merely recent (Greek, "nea")." [JFB Commentary, A.R. Fausett, 1871, Heb. 8:13].
As it is written, all Israel is saved, "The Deliverer [Jesus] will come out of Zion [Jerusalem], and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob [both the House of Israel and the House of Judah]; for this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins." [Rom. 11:26, 27; Heb. 8:7-13, 1 John 3:4, reconciliation and the new covenant will be consummated for the House of Judah with the return of Christ, yom kippur or the day of atonement, Eze. 37:15-28].
The House of Israel legally was divorced [Heb. kᵊrîṯûṯ, Jer. 3:6-8] from our LORD in 732 BCE. In order for them to be eligible under the terms of the new covenant of promise made with Abraham and Christ, they needed redeeming. This is why Christ stated, "I am not sent except to the lost sheep of the House of Israel." This is another reason why, more than any other apostle, Paul, a Jew by religion, not birth, being a descendant of Benjamin rather than Judah [Rom. 11:1], and who was a rabbinical student of Jerusalem's chief rabbi Gamaliel [Acts 22:3], understood that Christ didn't come to save the gentiles of the world from their "sins." The legally binding law covenant, in essence a marriage agreement [Deut. 7:6] our LORD, Jehovah, exclusively made with Moses and the children of Israel, never applied to the gentiles. It might be a good idea to pause, take a moment to reflect on the bigger picture, and the implication of what this means for you. [1 Cor. 6:19].
Today, the law covenant is not in force for either the House of Israel or the House of Judah. As noted, Christ broke it in the first century. "And I [Christ] took my staff, Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with my people. And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD. And I said unto them, If you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver." [Zec. 11:10-12; see Gal. 3:24]. The covenant of promise made with Abraham and his Seed, Christ, our kinsman Redeemer, is now in force for the redeemed children of the House of Israel. [Gal. 3:16-18; Heb. 8:8]. For more detail, see the Feature articles, And It's Still A Mystery and Can A Christian Sin?
5 The orb, which represents Christ's dominion over the kingdoms of this world [Rev. 11:15], goes back to the promises passed down from Abraham, to Isaac to Jacob/Israel in Gen. 27. This is the blessing that accompanied the birthright. "Therefore may God give you of the dew of heaven, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine. Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, and let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, and blessed be those who bless you!” [Gen. 27:28, 29]. The sceptre and the orb reside with House of Israel today, our LORD's people, as part of the birthright. Yet, Esau/Edom, Zionists, desperately want to have it in their possession.

The birthright belonged to Esau who sold it for a morsel of food as the apostle Paul explained. [Heb. 12:16, 17]. "Then Jacob said, 'Swear to me as of this day.' So he [Esau/Edom] swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob." [Gen. 25:33]. Most of the turmoil besetting the collective West, the nations of the House of Israel, is Esau/Edom, the globalists, having dominion over the nations of Israel, doing everything it can to get back the birthright, blessings of the world, symbolized by the orb and the sceptre, now with the newly crowned king being a globalist fellow traveler. However, "Cursed be everyone who curses you" applies to Edom as the prophecies tell us. The birthright is, and will remain, Joseph's in the House of Israel. Because of our apostasy, the great falling way from the truth of the word of God [2 Ths. 2:10-12], we are to suffer greatly because, in ignorance, we have forsaken our birthright that we are the children of the House of Israel, not gentiles. [1 Chr 5:1, 2, see the Feature articles, Isaiah 63: Big Brother, The Prophetic 21st Century Antichrist; and Obadiah And The Prophetic Parable Of The Tares].
